The Satellite Imagery is Amazing
The Tread 2 Overland solved a problem for us that seemed to have no other solution. The cost made us a bit reluctant to get it, but it has been well worth it. We highly recommend it for overlanding and explorations of remote wilderness areas. We would have given this device 5 stars except for one issue which is described in the following write-up. We frequently take 4x4 tracks into remote areas of the Arizona Strip. We carry 3 different GPS units plus detailed paper topo maps and a compass. While our 3 GPS units have always agreed on the coordinates, their mapping software placed us at different locations. Even the paper map gave us a location that our eyeballs told us was incorrect. We had to fall back on triangulation off of mountains to find our true location on the paper map. The satellite imagery download allows us to see exactly where we are - no more second guessing the GPS units or the paper map. The satellite view also allows us to "see" what is over the next ridge, and in our first outing using it, we found 2 tracks that we had never seen before. There are some problems with the "Adventure Roads and Trails overlay". In two instances, it indicated 4x4 tracks that were in fact, hiking trails for non motorized vehicles. In another instance, it showed a 4x4 track that clearly did not exist. The satellite imagery does take a while to download, but this feature alone is worth the price. So...... While the Tread 2 Overland does what we wanted, the errors in the "Adventure Roads and Trails overlay" are enough of a problem to deduct 1 star. Using the downloaded satellite imagery makes remote backcountry navigation unbelievably simple and nearly fool proof. Even with this ease of navigation, if you are venturing out into the wilderness, ALWAYS take along the paper maps and compass just in case the Tread fails.

Comfortable
Love this watch. I love the flashlight on it, pretty bright for a watch. I love all the activities that you can do with it.

Glad I purchased this watch
This watch has so many features, it took me a while to learn how to use it. Now I won’t leave home without it. The navigation features will be great when we are on a tour. Finding places we want to see or just finding our way back to the bus.

Does not last the distance
This watch is lovely to look at but my watch face just got lighter and lighter and I now no longer have any digital information on the watch face. I cannot read messages, see steps, etc. This is really not good enough.

I like a watch with hands!
I love this watch because it does all the stuff I want it to do - tracking workouts, steps, sleep among other things, but is also a regular looking watch when it's NOT telling me about those things. The o ly complaint I've ever had is that the screen can be hard to read in bright sunlight. It's a good thing I have hands to tell the time! I'd recommend having and extra band at the ready when your first one wears out a few years in.

Beautiful and Functional
I'm so happy with this watch. It's beautiful, the screen hasn't scratched and I've had it for over 6 months now. I'm pretty rough with my gear. It pairs easily with the app and I love tracking my steps, heart rate and stress levels. The band never irritates my skin and is nicely breathable. 10/10 recommend.

Best one
I had a lot of smart watches but Garmin is the best for the moment. I have it for more than 2 years and the battery stays up more than 14 days.

Awesome unit. Controls need some refinement
I’ve gotten to use this for about 1000 miles snowmobiling. It does mostly everything I want and more. It does however take some getting used to a the controls are not exactly straight forward to figure out. The manual leaves quite a lot left to the imagination. I would say I know more about using a gps than most. I have had the trail tech gps for about 5 years and have been using marine navigation gps units for 20 years.
