GE 2-Slice Toaster

Recommended by America's Test Kitchen, but very disappointed at every level. As an Industrial Designer, I find it very poorly designed. Whoever designed this, should find another career. Excessive use of chrome, the push down lever shows your finger prints, the numbers on the dial are minuscule, the dot on the dial cannot be seeing as everything is chrome. It burns your toast at every level. Do not touch the top plate after toasting, as you will end up with third degree burns!

Design

I think the product need more insulation barrier because after you finish toasting or while toasting the toaster is very hot to the touch on my counter top at #3 sitting. Need to be careful around small children. NOT KIDS FRIENDLY.

GE-2 / Slice Toaster

So far, no issue. My one concern is when handling the Toaster, fingerprint marks are all over the toaster. It does wipe off but I thought with stainless steel, you wouldn't see the fingerprintsl

Pretty toaster works great!

This toaster is not only pretty on my counter top, but it works amaizng. It perfectly toasts my waffles and toast every morning. I just love the look of it as well.

Toasts on both sides

This is one of the few toasters I've found that will toast on both sides of the bread simultaneously. It does so evenly also. Have only used a few times but so far it's doing what I had hoped.

A toaster for the Whole Family

This toaster is awesome! Does someone in your house like their toast dark? No problem. Set the dial and pop in the bread. Does someone else like it lightly toasted? No problem. Set the dial and pop in the bread. You can toast a bagel on one side and toast on the other at the same time! No more waiting in line to use the toaster!
