I LOVE this toaster. The controls are so nice and give a click when turning so you know that you are getting. The design is flawless the stainless is so sleek and easy to maintain. Hands down the best toaster I have ever owned.

Smells like it’s melting

Produces great toast but even after 8 months, the toaster emits the smell of burning plastic upon use. I make sure to clean out the crumb tray and have not toasted anything sticky, but the smell persists. I had a GE dishwasher that was also having this problem with the dry cycle, so I guess GE heating elements are incompatible with some part of the construction.
