Awful, weak coffee

I’ve only used the coffee maker to make single cups, which is why I bought it. No matter what I do the coffee is incredibly weak. I’ve set it on gold. I’ve set it on bold I’ve set it on extra bold, I have adjusted the grind size. Nothing works. I get weak watery coffee every time.

Awesome coffee station, full of useful options

This is a replacement for the 2 Cuisinart's we have had over the years, so far I love it, much quieter, I like how you can do a mug option, I like the water holder a lot too and all the options for brew strength and temp, that is a huge plus! Only complaint is the water sprinkler thing that gets full of grounds every time you use it. So far so good though!

Awesome coffee maker! But door opens by itself

Love everything about this product, but there’s one annoying issue. The coffee filter door keeps popping open during the grinding process. Even after cleaning it per instructions, the door keeps popping open. I may have to return it and just keep my 15 year old Cuisinart coffee maker that hasn’t had one issue since owning it. The reason my wife gifted me this coffee machine was because we’ve replaced all of our kitchen appliances with GE Profile and the stove top with Monogram.

Stay away

This thing bews a great cup of coffee.... when it actually brews it! Wored great for a week.. Now it's add beans.. beans are full, add water. Water is full, I spend more time cleaning descaling and putting this thng back together than we do making coffee. The 10 cup capacity is silly! The app interface is more of a headache than convenience! I service the grinder every other day. Doesn't hold a ton of beans either. If you are single, and have time to kill this is the coffee pot for you.. if more than 1 person in the house requires coffee pass on the expensive paper weight! I would have got rid of it by now but the stupid thing is expensive!! So yes I have had the piece of junk for 5 months and pray I get a cup of coffee when I wake up!

Design flaw causes basket to pop open during grind

The product makes good coffee, but it has a design flaw. The basket door pops open during grinding and has to be held closed. It works for the first few brews, then starts popping open and won't stay closed. We returned the first one and got a second, which had the same problem so we returned the 2nd also.

Love it!

I have had two GE Cafe coffee makers over the past few years and I love them. I only buy SCA-certified coffee makers, as they are the only coffee makers that I know will brew my coffee hot enough. What sets GE makers apart is the Smart HQ app, which is the only app that allows you to brew a pot of coffee whenever you want, without the need to set a timer (don’t be fooled by overpriced, cheap makers, as their app is garbage)! I have very limited space in my coffee bar, and I am getting a new espresso machine which is wider than my current one. This requires me to get a slimmer coffee maker, hence the need for a new one. The profile is only 7” wide, so it is a great fit (it is tall, but that isn’t a problem for me). I love the addition of the grind and brew feature, which allows for a fresher pot than when I grind my beans the night before brewing. I believe that this maker is also a great value, and is fairly priced. Outstanding!!!
