Best ever

I got a good black Friday deal on this, but I honestly would’ve paid full price. I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my hair. It feels so much softer easily the best straightener I’ve ever used.

If only

I purchased my 2nd GHD Platinum + Flatiron on 11/27/25. The delivery was quick and everything was in tack. I made the purchase because of my 3 year relationship with my 1st Platinum which I purchased 11/2022. While ,my 1st Platinum still works, I decided to buy another while it was on sale for the holidays. I wanted to be sure to get the same since my first worked so well. IF ONLY it worked as well, I would've been another satisfied customer. My 2nd Platinum did not get as hot as the first one. I didn't understand it. I tried it a second time and still, not as good as the 1st one. The 2nd GHD pulled my hair as well. I gave 4 stars because I'm still happy with my 1st purchase (which may last a little longer). I'm hoping the next version will live up to my 1st Flatiron. Unfortunately, I had to return my 2nd purchase yesterday. I hope the return process will be seamless. If only the 2nd GHD Platinum + was like my 1st.

Great but catches hair

I love the platinums but the white especially, catches strands of my hair and pulls them out when I am straightening the back. Also, my platinums stop working after two years. They start beeping and stop warming up. It is so frustrating because they are so expensive. It is still my favorite straighter.

Too wide for shorter hair

I spent a fortune for this flat iron and I'm very disappointed. It straigthen, but my hair appears much coarser than even with a much less expensive one.
