Not Impressed—Very slow, plastic, easy jam

After 6 months, this grinder is my least favorite kitchen appliance. It has no auto shutoff or measure to grind 8, 12, etc. cups. It is mostly cheap plastic and only has an on-off switch and a turn top fine-course grind select top. The tea kettle heats 2x before the grinder has 6 cups. At full, it holds beans for a max of 12 cups brewed. The grinder would run empty and burn itself out before stopping. I have to shake/tap it when in-use to keep the beans grinding. The 1 pro to this grinder is that it grinds to a consistent size. Overall: it’s made of cheap plastic, has no safety shutoff when top is off, takes FOREVER, no basic features (measured grind, auto-off, etc.), requires daily cleaning, and is very small in size. I do not see this lasting over a year. It seems to take even longer to grind than it used to, as if the motor is already starting to go. This is an appliance used daily and it needs to be of quality materials—especially if you are paying this price.
