Safe for seniors

I bought this for my mother because her microwave is too high to safely heat water. It is easy to use and has lots of safety features. She said that the tea is great.

Defective

Worked great and then stopped working then started heating and would not stop boiling a whole pot of water away. Seems like a fire hazard

The Hamilton Beach 1.7L Cool Touch Digital Kettle is a fabulous addition to my kitchen appliances. I love how sleek and modern it looks., that it doesn't get hot om the outside, and that it has a digital setting i cam adjust depending on my drink of choice. Much better than the tea kettle I was using previously!
