BEWARE!

To future buyers - please listen to and heed the warning from the many people (including myself) who are very unhappy with this product. I have had this for 17 months, used it between 5-10 times, and today it quit working. When I first turned it on to high, it heated up and was fine, but when I turned it to low an hour later, that's when it quit working. It wouldn't heat at all after that, even after turning it off, unplugging it, and turning it back on again. The indicator lights all work, but no heat. This is extremely frustrating to say the least, but especially when it's an expensive dinner like a roast with all the fixings! Will never buy a Hamilton Beach product again!

Great quality product (even if it is a little big)

I actually wanted a four-quart cooker, not this one, but the sale price of the six-quart cooker made it half the price of the smaller one. My only issue with this product is that you have to select the cooking time in two-hour increments. Sure enough, the first recipe I made called for a three-hour cooking time. So I set it on four hours and just told Alexa to let me know when three hours went by. First world problem.

Works well

I have only used the slow cooker once, but I was pleased with how it worked. I only gave it four stars because you can only set the time for certain hours, I.e. 2,4,6…. So, I set it for 4 hours when I needed only 2 1/2 hours, and then set a timer on my Alexa device.
