Almost Perfect

Finally a machine that allows pods and your own coffee! Except thermos doesn't hold heat as long as I'd like. Wish burner kept it hot longer. Base of pot falls off too.

Slow filling carafe

Purchased this unit to replace our Keurig single serve coffee maker. Liked the idea of the carafe for family get togethers. This was the third time using the carafe and it took forever to brew and fill. So today I made 12 cups of just water and timed it. Shocked that it took just about 18 minutes for the 12 cups. Nothing sure why.

Hamilton Beach FlexBrew is Perfect

We needed a new coffee maker, and we needed the flexibility of single cup & carafe brewing. The HB FlexBrew does all that, and also is coffee pod (k-cup) friendly as well. EZ setup experience from opening the box. We were up and brewing our first cup within 5 minutes, tried both the single cup with & without a k-cup. Both worked well, coffee tasted great, and was a little warmer than our old coffee maker. Time will tell if this coffee maker holds up to the hard water we have in the NY Finger Lakes region. Our old HB brewer was still going strong at 5 years old, but we clean bi-weekly which helps. Not sure why Hamilton Beach hasn't added a clean me light yet, should be easy enough to do and helps product life. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great coffee maker that can run k-cups, without that fancy "Keurig" price tag.

I am impressed!

This is my first time using a Hamilton Beach coffee maker and I am impressed! No leaks, and a great cup or pot of coffee every single time. The black design looks great on my countertop too.

Coffee Bliss

We owned one and had it for awhile and it still worked but we wanted to get a newer one in fear we wouldn't have our coffee when we wanted it , the price was a nice deal.

Great combo coffee maker

A great coffee maker for my needs. Mostly used for single serve coffee. But great to have on the weekend when I can enjoy a pot of coffee before having to go to work.
