I have owned two Hamilton watches, including this one, and both of their winding mechanisms broke after a few years of moderate use. I paid to have the first one repaired by Hamilton (not inexpensive) and it broke again within one year. Pretty disappointing. In my experience, they are not made nearly as well as my Omega, Rolex, Ball, Movado watches. Not even close.
