Just As Expected

I purchased several Heat Holders items for my upcoming trip to Antarctica. Every item was well made and lived up to my expectations. I purchased the light and heavy weight thermal base layers, knit hat, ear muffs, neck warmer and head band. I can’t wait to wear and test out my Heat Holders in Antarctica.

I'm looking forward to wearing

I'm looking forward to wearing these earmuffs as the weather gets colder and winds grow heavier here in coastal Maine. The business ends (the muffs themselves) fit closely without being too tight. They promise to do a better job at keeping the cold air out than my previous go-to set. The size of the muffs is perfect; not too small, not too large, and they fit closely enough that I'll be able to pull a hood over my head if things get too cold.

Not the quality I expected.

Reviews convinced me to give these a go but sadly they are not the quality I expected. The plastic part inside that allows for folding the ear muffs felt like they would pop through the end seams with use.

Soft and warm earmuffs

I walk every day and needed extra coverage for my ears than simply my knit cap as we got a cold snap. I ordered the earmuffs in early February. They arrived quickly and I have been wearing them since, except for 2 days of stormy weather and I didn’t go walking. The muffs fold up conveniently and take up next to no space so I can slip them in a pocket or my pack. They are soft and warm. They fit perfectly. Due to how my cap is made I wear the earmuffs over my cap. I frequently forget I have them on until I take my hat off and they come off together! I love the earmuffs; it was one of the best purchases of winter accessories I have made.
