Garmin -Index S2 Smart Scale

This is the smartest most mindless scale I have ever owned. I set it up a year ago. I just slide it under my bookcase and when it is time for a reading I just slip and out and Bang. Reports directly with my Garmin Account.

Does Not Measure All Metrics

I bought this scale so it would connect to my Garmin app and so I could see my trend in weight and body fat percentage. However, it does not register my body fat percentage (or anything else besides weight), and it doesn’t show up in my app. I scoured the internet for hours to find a solution (and found that MANY others experienced this issue) and none of the proposed solutions worked. I’m quite disappointed considering the price for this product. Since it only measures my weight, I could’ve saved a lot of money and bought a generic scale. I will have to see if I want to go through the hassle of a return. I do not recommend this product unless you’re willing to take the risk of it not fully working and not measuring all its advertised metrics.

Did not work for me

I bought this several weeks ago. Could not get additional people set up and the step to start did not work. Sent it back and replaced it with a Withings Body Comp. Just got it set up and it is working so much better that the S2 Smart Scale. I was hoping the S2 would work as well as my new Fenix 8.

Tracking over time is easey

It automatically inputs all the many measurments it takes into my Garmin app so I can see my weight, bodyfat% etc trend over time with out needing to be a spreadsheet wizard.
