Poor quality
I bought this about a month ago and had to return it 2 weeks later. Everything worked fine at first and I loved it. After the two weeks of having it home the speaker started sounding really bad. It sounded like the speaker had blown. Sent it back. Still waiting for my money back.

JBL LINK 20 DOES NOT UPDATE FIRMWARE
I bought a JBL LINK 20 and it´s not working well, due to the expired firmware version. JBL says this model is not supported by the App JBL Connect, used for firmware updates and need to be sent to an assistence workshop.

Nice while it lasted, didn't work after the warran
I was pretty happy with it while it lasted. Sound was nice and it worked pretty well, but it died in less than two years, but beyond the warranty. I think I'll stay away from JBL next time, I prefer brands whose products last

2022 NO LONGER BEING UPDATED!
NO LONGER BEING UPDATED! Although my link 20 is in perfect condition, it's google cast firmware is stuck on 1.44.219548 and JBL are not updating it. The advice on this page says " it will update during the night if there are any new updates available." but that is not true. It has started to become very unreliable as the google's official firmware is 1.56.275994 and this is way behind. Disappointing.

Weak Charging Port Breaks Easily
Worked great for about a year until the charging port's connection broke. Now the device cannot get any kind of charge

Not high quality as I expected from JBL
Just had this with us for over 2 years, now the knocking sound just makes it useless. We have to turn in off in the middle of the night because of the noise. We also have the JBL link view and it has its own issue, but this was just a waste of our money.And now that its warranty has expired, it just feels so hopeless. We bought this because for starters, it's JBL, and also because of its Google Assistant feature. This was just in our bedroom the whole time and was never misused so I hope JBL does something about this because I see now that this issue is quite common and seems to be irreversible.

Recurrent charger problems
I bought 2 of these speakers, the first one had charger connection problems within the first 6 months (on/off, would disconnect within a few seconds from charger even thought the wire is still connected). The second one now has the same problem, the speaker lasted about a year and a half. I would not recommend this speaker.
