Exceptional quality at a great price!
This Draper TV Stand is one of the most sturdy and solid pieces of furniture I have ever come across. The wood is absolutely beautiful, and the smell of actual wood upon opening the box is intoxicating. Everything assembles very easily, and I’d also recommend using a power tool, as you will be using wood screws into starter holes. The quality is wonderful and I am just really happy about this purchase. Looking forward to getting the Draper bookcase soon as well!

Great piece. My stereo was actually a bit longer then the shelves behind the door but seeing the back is wood it was easily modified! So far i have bought 4 pieces from the Draper collection and i could not be happier with all $!!!

Beautiful MCM piece with loads of storage
I was surprised by the amount of storage in this piece. It's very pretty and was easy to put together, taking about 1.5 hours for 2 people. We didn't have any trouble with assembly. This is our third piece of the Simpli-Home Draper collection, and we're very pleased. The color is an authentic MCM teak, and the pieces feel substantial.

Solid and simple utilitarian design
Beautiful media console, solid wood. It was fairly easy to put together except for the attachment of the door hinges, due to no holes being drilled other than pilot holes. If you want to save yourself time, drill the holes first before attempting to install the hinges. The back to the unit only offers two wire cord holes so if you need more you might consider not attaching the back panel.

Like others, we were looking for furniture to blend with our existing Danish modern teak, and Simpli-Home’s teak brown shade was a perfect choice. The furniture pieces arrived in a sturdy box and were individually protected by styrofoam blocks, thin foam sheeting, and shrink-wrapping. All wood pieces and metal hardware were clearly and individually labeled to match the instructions. The instruction sheet was written in clear English with easy-to-interpret line drawings (also downloadable from the company’s website). Assembly was not at all complicated, but it WAS physically challenging for two elders because it required a lot of bending of knees and backs, as well as lying on the ground. Attaching the hinges was the most tricky because of working with small screws in tight corners. Our best advice is to slightly enlarge the pre-drilled screw guide holes in each step. We did that by screwing in the appropriate screws half-way and then removing them. All that said, we are thrilled with the heft and appearance of this furniture. A remarkable value!

NO WAY
This product was not cheap; comparable to a TV stand through Pottery Barn(some of theirs are actually 70"s). Also, Pottery Barn comes via white glove service, already assembled. When UPS delivered it, the box seemed very light which shocked us. We opened it and knew right away there was a problem. After pulling out everything 75% of the parts were missing. We immediately got on the phone with Macys and they wanted to take ZERO accountibility. Of course, their service is off shore so we could barely make sense of what they were trying to say. They told us that they dont handle problems with their vendors so they would need to fill out a form and someone would contact us in 7-10 business days. They are not allowed to reship anything. With that being said, we said please provide us with a lable to return this item, we no longer want to due business with your company. We are within the return policy, end of story. They suddenly changed their minds however; it was too late.
