Lancôme's Aboslue L'Extrait Elixir Lotion is the first step of the L'Extrait Advanced Protocol. The Elixir Lotion uses Lancôme's Absolue roses sourced exclusively from the Plateau Valensole in the South of France. The lotion is infused with Lancôme's latest innovative rose discovery: Absolue Blackbiosis. Crafted from an extremely resilient and adaptative micro-ferment from the root of the rose, this precious ingredient is extracted in total darkness in an optimal environment to help maintain its integrity before it is formulated into this highly sensorial formula. The Elixir Lotion's superfine mist sprays onto skin, leaving a moisturizing veil evenly on the skin. Immediately, skin feels comfortable and fresh and is hydrated, lasting up to 24 hours. In 4 weeks, skin feels smoother, suppler and more toned while skin is radiant and texture looks refined. The L'Extrait signature rose fragrance is encapsulated in Lancôme's exclusive micro-mist texture, a luxurious formula that does not noodle or leave skin feeling sticky.

    • WHAT IT DOES:
    • The superfine hydrating mist, which sprays evenly onto skin, targets dryness, dull skin and uneven texture and tone; it drenches skin with rose micro-droplets for skin that looks revitalized, radiant and refined
    • INGREDIENT HIGHLIGHTS:
    • Absolue Blackbiosis extract is a micro-ferment extracted from the root of the Lancôme white rose; the extract from this ferment is used in this formula and is known to help protect the skin barrier and improve radiance
    • Rose damascena water is known to help hydrate, soothe and refresh the skin
    • Proxylane, developed by L'Oréal and originally derived from sugar, is known to help increase skin firmness and tone
    • Note: Ingredient benefits are based on product formula testing, not on the individual ingredients
    • HOW TO USE:
    • For best results, use twice a day as the first step in your skincare routine, after cleansing your skin
    • Apply the lotion by spraying three times to cover the whole face; start on the forehead, moving down toward the nose tip; continue on the left cheek, moving down toward the chin; repeat this action on the right side of the face for the third spray
    • Warm your hands by rubbing them together, then press warmed palms onto the forehead, cheeks and chin, beginning at the center of the face and working outward to the sides of the face; gently press until product is absorbed
    • Note: Spray at a minimum of 15 cm from face with eyes and mouth closed during application; do not intentionally inhale; wipe the excess product on the eyes and mouth

Why did my review disappear??

I reviewed this product when it did not have a single review. My review stated that this was way overpriced for what you get. It smells like the Absolue Rose which is very nice, but I think the Absolue serum is better. I don't know why Lancome removed my review when it was posted for a long time.
