Great Product but pricey
I had used the L'Extrait Serum before and was disappointed when It was discontinued. I was excited to see it brought back. It is great with the L'Extrait products but I can also use it with other Absolue products quite well. The only downside is the price.

I was told this is one of the best if not THE BEST product Lancome sells, and was not disappointed! I noticed a difference in my skin within 36 hours! It smells great to boot! Will definitely be making this serum a permanent part of my face care routine.

Not Worth It
I have been using Lancome products for years. I especially love the L’Extrait and Absolue lines. I was excited to try this new Elixir Serum, however will not be purchasing in the future because per my experience the Absolue Serum is a better product than this Serum. This serum is not worth its expensive price tag. It did nothing for my skin. The Absolue however has an amazing smell and actively improves my skin texture. This L’Extrait Elixir Serum was respectfully an unfortunate waste of money.

Nice product but obscenely overpriced
I forked out an obscene amount of money for this product. I just HAD to know what it was like to be priced this high. So, here is my review. The smell is nearly identical to Absolue Rose 80, and I like the smell very much. I used this product after I had applied the Absolue Rose 80. It is similar in consistency but this product is thicker. It is not as thick as Absolue the Serum (my favorite product) - it is clear but does have some thickness so it goes on very well. After about an hour of letting it dry and soak into my skin I was ready for my final layer, which in this case I used the Absolue L'Extrait Ultimate Elixir Cream. My skin felt like silk. That being said, I don't think I will spend this kind of money again. The Absolue Serum felt very similar in performance so I will stick with that after I use this up. Also, once I go through my supply of the Elixir Cream I will go back to the Absolue rich cream or the Absolue premium bx night cream. Lancome, I really strongly suggest you lower the price on these Elixir products if you want them to be truly successful.
