Great top, nice support for truly large busts
I bought this floral top. It's very pretty in person with fun, bright vibrant colors, in size 20W DDD cup, along with deep sea navy swim bottoms in 18W, and a navy swim bottom, and I couldn't be more pleased with the way it looks. The background of the top does not look black; it's a perfect match with navy. Nice support for large busts with the underwire and larger cup size. I am 5'4", 215 lbs, bra size 40J. Lands End G cup or DDD cup is about as close as I can get, and this will be supportive enough for me to last awhile If I had any suggestion, it would be MORE COLORS in the G and DDD cups. There have been beautiful coral and pink and emerald green suits this season, but none of them come with the underwire AND in a larger cup size. I swear, I'd buy them all if you made them! Don't make me hide in dark colors just because I'm a big girl. Bring on the color!

Great for short, big busted ladies
Purchased last year. Love the fit and fabric. I'm short and big busted. Generally, wear a ladies large size and the 16 W fit me nicely.

This top was an expected winner!
I needed a new suit to accommodate a larger bust and smaller bottom and decided to give this top a try. I’m 5’4”, have been fluctuating btw 200-210 lbs, bra size US 40J, and I’ve largely accepted that no swimsuit top will give me the support I need, and when I find something acceptable, it will be boring black or navy. I wanted to try the pretty turquoise and aqua floral, and ordered a 20W, DDD cup. I can’t tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by this top. It is pretty darn supportive and flattering, too. Straps are adjustable. Wire does not poke. And the color is so fun and pretty. I’d buy more, but they are all more or less a variation of black or navy. I’d have snapped up this top in the wood lily/strawberry, the emerald green and navy, or another bright, fun pattern. I’m sympathetic to those complaining about how weird they think the top is, but for someone like me, it’s a gift to finally find something that works.

Underwire digs in. :-(
The good: The navy stripe design is very cute and retro nautical - fell in love with it immediately. Very sturdy and seems well-constructed. The bad: when I purchased it, it was only available in the Navy stripe with the underwire. I generally prefer comfort and am not THAT well endowed, so I usually don't like underwires, but it was so cute I thought I'd give it a chance. Unfortunately, as soon as I tried it on I knew I'd have to return it. The bust/chest area was incredibly tight (I'd even sized up as some reviewers had recommended). It was so tight it was pushing the underwire into my ribs. But even so the cups were large and loose-ish (even though I'm a C cup!). Just standing was uncomfortable, I knew there was no way I'd be able to swim in it without pain. It was a shame because it was cute. That said, it might fit if you are a D cup or higher, with a fairly small trunk, as it might move the underwire further away from your ribs. I was also not very happy with the way the ruching looked, it kind of messed up the stripe pattern, and it was still tight to the stomach so from the side you could still see all the lumps and bumps. I feel like it was designed for a woman with very specific body proportions, fairly slim everywhere except for a large bust, leaving us girls with thicker middles and smaller chests out to sea. Before I returned it, I ordered the same in the mixed pink and red stripe, which didn't have the underwire. Considerably more comfortable, though still oddly tight under the chest. The channels for the underwire are still there, so it provides quite a lot of support but without as much digging. If you're on the fence on what to buy, and dislike discomfort, go for the red/pink stripe no-underwire version. My recommendation for next year - would be to take the navy stripe print and make it an option for the flutter-hem tankini top. I also purchased that, and some swim trunks for mix-and-match. These were supremely comfortable. Land's End, I think you'd have a best-seller next year if you add the navy stripe as an option to the flutter design. OR, even better, add another flutter hem tankini option, slightly longer for better tummy coverage, with a v-neck instead of square neck to preserve the retro vibe. And finding more beta testers with different body types will help a lot with the fit issues. Happy swimming everyone!
