Weird seam and fabric bunching up on arms

This would have been a very nice shirt. However, for some reason, they put a seam in upper arm area of the sleeves, instead of having a typical shoulder seam. There is a lot of fabric bunching up below that seam, and that fabric actually comes to a point. The result is very unflattering. It ends up looking like I have very bulky upper arms at that seam. It's a shame; the shirt is otherwise nice, but I am going to return it.
