New PC

Purchased as a replacement for an old PC which was slowing down and could not be upgraded to use Windows 11. Very impressed with the Idea Centre 3 so far - nice and compact, fast and easy to use.

NEW DESKTOP PC

I am pleased with the new pc as it is now operating efficiently. I had difficulty with the initial setup as the pc crashed afer I had installed my email addresses and norton security (after uninstalling the trial version of McAfee). I was able to download a fresh copy of the operating system using a troubleshooting recovery process and the pc is now operating as it should. I am happy with it and it is much faster than my previous i7 pc.

Lovely compact machine.

It was easy to install, and i love the abundance of ports. it also supports multiple screens which was not clear on the website.

So far, so good.

I bought this to replace a dead tower that was about 9 years old that had recently had a win 10 & 1TB drive update. it was quite simple to install that drive into the machine and the software sorted every thing out painlessly. ( to my surprise.)

Limited upgrade potential. Difficult adding hard drive, no srews, no aligned mounting holes in hard drive cage, mounted with only one screw in centre of cage, unsatisfactory. Only room for one additional hard drive. No room for graphics card. No DVD. USB slots on front of case too close together, cannot mount 2 usb sticks at the same time. Performance as expected for the specification.
