BIG CHIP in Blue Bay Teapot

I needed my teapot by the 22cnd. It arrived on the 19th, and there was a big, noticeable chip on the inside lip of the pot! Obviously I cannot use the pot and will not have one in time for my tea party on the 22cnd. Where is quality control to ensure this never happens?

Very Pretty Teapot BUT . . .

Just unwrpped this very cute little Teapot. It has an interesting, unique design and nice ergonomics. I haven't used it yet, but I am having second thoughts about keeping it for 2 reasons. First of all -- it only holds 24 oz., when filled to a level at the middle of the spout -- NOT 32 oz. (I just measured by pouring 3 cups of cold water into the pot.) So, it will only make 3 eight oz. cups of tea, once you add 2 or 3 teabags. Secondly, I am very disappointed because the opening underneath the lid is extremely small -- barely 2" in diameter! Thus, it will be difficult to handwash because my hand will not fit into the teapot to remove tea stains.. It does say that the teapot is dishwasher safe; but I prefer to hand wash nice porcelain because sometimes a glaze will end up with an alligator appearance if a porcelain item is washed repeatedly in a very hot dishwasher. If you don't have a problem with these issues, you will surely enjoy this teapot.

Must but for tea drinkers!

Absolutely lovely tea pot addition to my China set. Classic look, not too large, and easy to clean. Color and pattern go with really any dishes.

Unique, Fun, Whimsical

Blue and white are beautiful together, so this Lenox brand porcelain pot was perfect as my replacement teapot. I love the unique shaped body - not a typical teapot shape - and it is molded with gentle curves going in and out around the body and handle. The spout is fun and whimsical too! I love it!
