I ordered pasta insert for ease in boiling noodles and other types of food. It is a sturdy heavy duty piece that will last and is very easy to use with the two top handles to assist in removing it from the large pot in which it fits.

Great addition to my Made In pots and pans set
What can I say, it's a pasta strainer and colander. Fits perfectly in my 8-quart Made In stock pot. The real value is in the starchy pasta water left behind when straining the noodles. Instead of pouring it down the sink like with a traditional colander, that liquid gold can be retained to add to your pasta sauce, turning it velvety, and creating a cohesive sauce by emulsifying fats, binding ingredients, and preventing separation.

Necessity for pasta fans
Absolutely needed this as a big pasta fan. It makes pasta so much easier since I don’t have to pour the pasta out into a colander, hoping the noodles don’t spill into the sink.

Pasta insert is perfect for making pasta. It fits nicely into cooking pan and has river on bottom to protect pan your inserting it into.
