Family Heirloom in the Making

Waited a couple of years for a price I could afford for these stunning Christmas plates. They are exactly as advertised. They are going to be displayed every Christmas on a wall plate display holder. If you can afford them at any price, they are gorgeously worth it.

Beautiful China Piece

The piece is a present for my daughter and it’s perfect. It was packaged extremely well, arrived on time and was purchased at a wonderful discount. I’ll definitely be watching Macy’s for more of these pattern pieces at prices I can afford.

China Place Setting

Beautiful china place setting for my son and daughter-in-law. The quality is still as top notch as it was 32 years ago when my husband and I got our Noritake china! Definitely best to purchase the place setting versus individual pieces - and buying 2 at a time allows for increasing dinner party guests -> start with the couple, buy 2 more for them to have another couple over, and so on!

Treasured Dinnerware

My collection oddly started with my grandmother creating a gorgeous hand painted poinsettia Christmas dinner plate set. She willed it to my sister. In looking for a Christmas set that could come near that quality, I found the Platinum Silver Palace Christmas accent plates. After reading about Noritake I learned that their bone china has cow bone ash in excess of 30%. Compared to other brands, it is one of the best. The set also has the Silver Palace Accent Plate for Spring meals. I have the complete set of 8 with the accent plates and they are spectacular for serving. My only complaint is post covid, the patter is difficult to find to fill in the serving pieces.

Not as stunning as the pictures.

The design looks cheaper in person. The tree ornaments have touches of blue and the detail is not nearly as pretty in person. Usually I find that to be the opposite with dishes. I was disappointed when I opened the box.
