This embroidery machine does it all!

I have always wanted to explore decorative embroidery, so I'm so excited about the Brother PE900 embroidery machine! It comes with everything I needed to get started, including bobbins, thread, and various tools. I will say I am now investing in a rainbow of thread options to keep up with all the ideas I have! I love the oversized 5" x 7" frame, which lets me embroider on relatively large pieces of fabric. The mechanics of the machine are fairly simple, even for someone like me who only has rudimentary experience with sewing machines. It's so technologically advanced, yet also user-friendly, and all of the computerized functions thrill the techie in me. The machine easily connects to my Wi-Fi and will let me import my own designs wirelessly. It comes with a library of 193 built-in designs and 13 built-in fonts. I'm also playing around with the Artspira app, which makes it easy to create designs or download from their vast library. My favorite features so far are the jump stitch trimming function, which automatically trims thread within each color, and Color Sort, which will figure out the most efficient stitching order of my selected colors. I never knew how much I needed a dedicated embroidery machine until I experienced the ease of use and cool functions of the PE 900. Now I am obsessed. Get ready to see me rocking embroidery from head to toe!

An amazing machine!

I have sewing experience but this embroidery machine can be intimidating at first. I took me a full day to get down the basics of what everything does and how to bobbin and thread. It took me another day to get the hooping and machine basics down so I could actually start. The machine is user friendly and helps you when needed. It even threads the needle for you. If there is an error it tells what’s happening and what needs to be done. There’s a backstitching feature for when you thread breaks so you can go back and restart and not have to redo the whole thing. It has preset designs, sizes and different fonts and you can use a usb port to add your own patterns too. I’m so excited to see what I can make and learn in the future.

I'm Loving it

I Love everything about the PE900. I'm still learning and understanding what all the machine does, however it's not hard to understand. The only problem I have is sizing my letters with the hoop. Otherwise I'm not a pro but it did exactly what I needed.
