Too Cramped Inside

When I received this luggage I was disappointed with the inside packing space. It had the same outside dimensions as the carry-on I've been using the last few years, but the inside packing space of the TravelPro Carry-on had only about half the space. The problem is that the housing for the wheels, handle, and charger are all inside the suitcase, so it leaves very little space to pack your belongings. On the plus side, the wheels looked very durable and sturdy, and the construction of the luggage itself seems excellent. In spite of the quality, I'm going to have to return it because it just doesn't fit everything I need to pack.

This carry-on exceeded our expectations.

The stated dimensions are accurate, and comply with the current domestic travel carry-on rules. This is a strong, well made product. We are very pleased with the quality. In spite of its compact dimensions, the suitcase packs easily and holds more clothes than we expected.

All of my Travelpro products are the best ever. If you travel often, it's worth purchasing well-made, sturdy luggage that will last. My friends replace theirs every couple of years because they chose to purchase inferior products that were a "bargain".

Sadly disappointed

I had high hopes for my new luggage set. After my first use, I find myself wushing I chose the other brand I had first selected. 1. The material used for the outside feels thin and low quality, compared to my just retired Away medium check-in. 2. Hard to handle. The handles look nice but are so tightyo the case i can barely get my fingers around them to securely grip the cases. 3. Too much texture on the exterior. I do not like the rough feeling. My first use was just a direct 3 hour flight and every cases used is marred and scuffed, looking and feeling even more rough. 4. Hate the expandable feature because when not in use the cases look and feel wobbly and overstuffed. The medium is so much bigger than my Away (nonexpandable) medium. It is too bulky looking and I haven't packed it yet. 5. The wheels roll well on smooth even surfaces, empty and packed. The large has been a pain to move on carpet, flooring seams and little gaps like one deals with on elevators. 6. So miss the compression boarexpected. that AWay uses - more than expected. I have to wonder if the holiday promotion that swayed me Away from Monos and Away brought me cheaper versions of Travelpro luggage. Really regret this purchase.

Nice unit. Will buy another for my wife. Have not traveled with it yet but after over 80 international flights using other carry-ons, this one should work great and last a long time. Unit is also attractive. Definitely stands out.
