great idea and design!!!
my teacher bought this for me, i really liked it, but, it could be perfect if the screen is bigger and it doesn't hurt that much eye, cause that's why my mom kept taking it away from me😭

Cute and entertaining
It’s been so long since I bough a Vpet game to play, very nostalgic. The games are simple and the pets a bit needy, but would be perfect for kids to entertain themselves and learn to take care of animals.
Digital pet
Very cool and fun. My daughter loves playing with it. She's 4 .

Cute digital pet!
It’s similar to a tamagotchi but without the alarms that it’s starving and it doesn’t die in the middle of the night! My daughter and I love it so much and It was on sale. I’m obsessed. Is bad on batteries though, had to order rechargeable ones because we went through 3 pairs of 3 triple A’s in two days.

Excellent virtual pet!
Punirunes is an adorable and original virtual pet that takes the whole concept of user interaction with their pet to another level! The squishy button inside the device functions as a pad which can be used to pet your punirunes, play games with them and also taking care of them. Just be careful to always wash your hands and keep them clean when interacting with the pad because it's silicone and dirt will get stuck on it if your hands are dirty. I also love the evolution tree and all the posible combinations you can do with the mix materials. The animations are beautiful and cute for every punirune, the sound is also very high quality and has cute sound effects. The screen also is very bright and big enough so you can watch the gorgeous colours with detail! As for the size, I have big hands, and it totally fills my handful and feels very nice to hold. An excellent virtual pet overall perfect for kids and adult fans of virtual pets, I hope new versions release worldwide soon!

Great Toy but eats batteries
This was the hit Christmas present this year. Youngest has been playing with it constantly. It seems much better value than a tamagotchi, with games and things to collect, and she loves petting it. My main complaint is the ridiculous battery life. The ones it came with didn’t last the day, we replaced with rechargeable ones but those went after about 5 hours. Same for Energiser ones, however the battery checker said there was still plenty of charge left, so seems to be an issue with the Punirune.

Great and wonderful Virtual pet
I'm so relieved that this pet doesn't actually die. It has mini games that are entertaining and it's easy to earn coins to spend for your pet! It's a great stress reliever and what a virtual pet really should be. I hope and wish for more and different kinds of English version of virtual pets to come!! I do hope however that there's an option where the screen can just stay on, so it'll be like a desktop pet that also displays the date and time. Overall though, it's great! I love it!! Thank you SpinMaster!! (please bring more virtual pets in English version ^_^)

I wish I could give 5 stars battery life is awful
My daughter wanted a tamagotchi for her birthday but since she’s still learning to read we figured this toy would be a better start for her. We all love how cute and fun it is but it only lasts 2-3 days max before needing new batteries. My sister ended up getting her a tamagotchi anyways. It also takes triple A batteries and I haven’t had to replace them at all but the punirune has died atleast 4 times already and it’s only been 2 weeks. Keep in mind she opened both the tamagotchi and punirune on the same day. This toy could’ve easily been rechargeable or they could at least make it capable to handle rechargeable batteries. I spent over an hour on a Reddit forum trying to find a battery solution but even other hardcore Punirune fans struggle with finding a decent solution. It’s sad because this toy is honestly so fun and better than the tamagotchi in some ways. If they came out with a rechargeable Punirune I would buy it in a heartbeat! I enjoy babysitting my daughters digital pets while she’s at school but I feel like I have to neglect her Punirune to conserve battery for her to actually get to play with it… that’s just crazy for a digital pet toy.
