Painful for me

Most uncomfortable boot i have ever worn. No matter how snug or loose or tie them. It makes the tires on my left foot throb. I cannot wear them. Maybe I just got a bad pair. Other reviewers praise them for comfort.

Great boots

I bought these boots about a year ago for duty boots. My feet don’t hurt and I don’t have to change for grass fires.

Great boot, great tread.

Good quality boot, the aggressive tread is a great addition. Would recommend removing the composite toe it doesn’t fit in for wildland fire usage, or structure fire usage. It doesn’t flex, makes it harder to break in.

Great fire boots

Been using these boots after my standard issue boots fell apart on me. These boots are a bit heavier than my last pair but have been much more comfortable. Have been using these for months at work for station, EMS, and brush fires and these have held up phenomenally well so far. Again they are heavier but my feet aren't sore or tired even after a long shift. The tread is nice and aggressive, perfect fire brush fires even if a bit heavy, and with some elbow grease and a lighter these can shine up if needed too. I will say when I first received them they took a bit to break in and loosen to form to my feet, and the first tour with these was a bit painful on my ankles, but after loosening and forming they've been great. Absolutely recommend these boots to anyone who needs a new pair or wants to upgrade to a more rugged boot.

Comfortable boot

Have worn these with the zippers for about 6 months now. Super comfy boot, a heavier boot but I like the protection. For me, fits true to size for my normal boot size, beware if you plan on putting the zipper inserts in, buy a half size smaller. Also, buy the small size in the zipper. I have a 10.5 boot with the Small size zipper, fits good, I do need to adjust the laces to be tighter, a 10 size boot would’ve been perfect because the leather does stretch a tad and the zippers make them a bit big. Make sure to wear with a true boot sock as well, overall really happy, hope to get 3-4 years out of them.

good overall boot.

I've had these boots for a few weeks now and am overall satisfied with them. durability and comfort are great, and they look good with my duty pants as well! However, be aware that they seem to run very exact in the sizing. I wish I had gone a 1/2 size above my normal boot size because my toes touch the tip of my boots, and I think until they break in, I'm going to be doomed to have sore feet.
