The ROCKY Code Red: Wildlands 77 is made for Wildland Firefighting. This boot is NFPA 1977 certified and has fire resistant full grain flesh out leather, laces, and stitching. The sidewall stitch construction offers better resistance against wear and tear preventing the Vibram fire and ice jungle outsole from separating from the upper. Inside this boot, the fiberglass shank helps to relieve your foot of ache-inducing impact and our ROCKY Air-Port Comfort footbed provides cushioning. Built in unisex sizing, this is the perfect boot for all Wildland firefighters..

Not thrilled

Not to thrilled.just went to the fire line and finally wore them... Bottoms are comforting. But the tongue is horrible cuts in to your leg😕 poor design

Comfy... I like 'em!

Have really only begun breaking these in, but so far they are a comfortable boot. I think they will serve me well on fires this season.

Great fit

Amazing boots for the fire line, I wore these boots out and about twice for a total of 3 hours and then used them on the fire line during a 12-hour fire. They fit amazing, much like my SV2s, no heat on the line, great grip, and very light. I would highly recommend these to any wildland firefighter looking for a great fit.

REMOVE THE LACE EYELET.

PLEASE REMOVE THE LACE LOCKING EYLET.

The boots fine but PLEASE PLEASE get rid of the lace lock eyelet. Makes sense on paper. But it gets gunked up with dirt and it makes it impossible to take these boots off end of shift. I'm going to have to try to fix it with a drill bit.

Happy feet

I have owned several different wildland boots and I really like these. Quick break in. Wide size is actually wide. Comfortable boot for all day walking in all kinds of terrain.
