The exterior on this Rocky Men's Jump Boot has an adequate amount of durability and ruggedness so that it is able withstand the most unforgiving working conditions. The upper has been built from premium full-grain black leather. These 10-inch public service boots have a side zipper that aids in getting them on/off rapidly. In addition to these features, there is a polishable toe so that you can keep these boots looking like they are in tiptop shape. A great deal of the paratrooper boot's strength can be attributed to its Goodyear welt construction. Eventually, all public service boots begin to wear down with this construction, these boots can be repaired with no trouble and they revert back to their original hardiness. The contoured EVA footbed provides cushioning that will pacify your achy feet, and will make standing a much more comfortable experience.

Very durable

I bought a pair and they actually lasted me for about 1and a half years ,2yrs if you take care of them by shinning them and not wearing them in too harsh of environments.

Can you do better

Very badly made. When you lace up the boot the inside has parts that rub into your skin

Broken on 1hrs day

Bought these for work as an infantryman, the toe caps of both boots Shatered ON THE FIRST DAY WEARING THEM. These are cosplay boots they are not meant to be worn outside. Save your money boys, this one ain't it, it's a shame.

Sizing is way off

I’ll be honest, I’m not sure how to accurately review these boots. Followed the suggested guide and got advice from others who ordered. Went with my shoe size and they’re about 2 sizes too big. If the sizing is this inaccurate quality instantly in question.

Rocky 2090 boots

I have been wearing these boots for years. With no cartridge in my knees I can still walk 3 miles with these on, barely 1 in tennis shoes.

problem with zipper

i bought a pair and wore them home. when i unzipped them to take them off, the zipper didn't go down far enough. i had to unlace them. defeating the purpose of the zipper. very disapointed

Still the same?

I bought a pair of 10" side zipper jump boots, (style 2090), approximately 30 years ago. They held up wonderfully and when they developed a split (which probably wouldn't have happened if I oiled the leather) in them that would have cost the same amount to fix as purchasing a new pair, I did just that. When I received them I gave them a good look and they appear to be the same in most ways. The differences were small. Wearing them, it feels to me that the uppers may be a bit thinner leather. This may not be a bad thing because they are pretty comfortable out of the box. I remember the old pair taking a while to break in causing me blisters. I will add that they do run large. I usually wear a 10. In these I need a 9W. Will the new pair be as good as my cherished old pair? Only time will tell.
