We had this same trashcan before and really liked it; however the top was plastic and broke (didn't like that). I wanted the same trashcan and was excited to see that the top is not plastic! Worts great and fits perfectly in out kitchen! Also it looks sleek and nice.

Love this and it’s so pretty too!

I have quite a few simple human products. This one is nice looking and well made and I expect it to last for a long time. The only thing I would improve is to have adjustable legs. In my new place I have uneven floor and had to move it cause it was wably. Other than that i really like it.

Bought this can to replace a cheaper one that wasn’t working well. I’ll never buy another kind again! This particular model fits perfectly and unobtrusively in my kitchen space, matches my stainless steel appliances, is whisper silent when opening and closing the lid, and super easy to remove garbage and replace bags. It also has the large capacity I need. I love it!!

got my can 2 days after buying it. FAST fed ex shipping. i knew this can would be nice, i didnt know HOW nice. If one can get excited about a garbage can, simplehuman is the luxury car of cans. it is solid, has a heavy plastic liner i love, a 10 year warranty and is BEAUTIFUL. the important things 1-10 year warranty 2-extremely well made 3-good looking (is a trash can good looking?) this one is 4-uses standard 13 gallon bags perfectly (SH bags are a bit over priced for me. get them down to .20/ea) 5-hold open latch is great. i never dreamed i would pay $100 for a garbage can, i would pay more for this can after buying several 50$ cans over 3 years, and watching them fall apart, i know now why these are more. THEY ARE BETTER 5 stars, if i could give it 10 i would.
