got my can 2 days after buying it. FAST fed ex shipping. i knew this can would be nice, i didnt know HOW nice. If one can get excited about a garbage can, simplehuman is the luxury car of cans. it is solid, has a heavy plastic liner i love, a 10 year warranty and is BEAUTIFUL. the important things 1-10 year warranty 2-extremely well made 3-good looking (is a trash can good looking?) this one is 4-uses standard 13 gallon bags perfectly (SH bags are a bit over priced for me. get them down to .20/ea) 5-hold open latch is great. i never dreamed i would pay $100 for a garbage can, i would pay more for this can after buying several 50$ cans over 3 years, and watching them fall apart, i know now why these are more. THEY ARE BETTER 5 stars, if i could give it 10 i would.

Replaced a previous model. I really like the new design, and the fact that the lid is sturdier and not plastic.

We are replacing old simplehuman can with newer model due to damaged lid. The new can ha an upgraded top to all metal no more plastic to break.

I love this garbage can. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The bags fit great and you can really pack a lot of garbage in it without breaking.

Hi. Thisbis a great product. Stepper is smooth. Looks is slick. One twick for next design....it is a little cumberson to take the plastic trash can base out to change the bag. Maybe need to figure out a system to take it out better.

I love this trash can, I had an older one just like this one for 19 years still was in good condition it was just time to replace.

The reviews are true and I am yet another happy customer raving about her trash can. Perfect size and looks great against the kitchen island since this type of lid allows me to place the can right up against the island. Full bags remove and new bags go in easily thanks to the vented bottom. Love the silent controlled can closing mechanism and the latch that keeps the lid open. Surface stands up to my kitties' scratching with no detectable scratch marks. I also appreciate the free trash bags. Super happy. Sometimes I just stand there and stare at it.
