    • This lens utilizes Smooth Trans Focus (STF) technology to reduce chromatic aberration and provide softly dissolving bokeh without sacrificing image resolution.

    • In order to further improve image quality, the lens features Sony s Nano Anti Reflective coating which reduces the amount of light that s reflected by the lens and helps reduce lens flare and image ghosting.

Grat combination

85mm is a definite focal length for portrait.

I bought this lens to try out portrait photography. Didn't expect an 85mm can give me so much of different perspectives. 85mm F1.8 and such a light lens. Image quality is superb plus it's affordability.

Great for Portraits.

Great lens for portraits. Bokeh quite good even from a distance. Only issue some people may not like some cats eye bokeh but it looks fine to me.
