I thought getting a TV and a Home Theatre system from the same brand would make it easier to connect. Wrong! it's worse than my previous Samsung TV and Sonos Home Theatre setup. The Bravia 8 II TV and the Theatre Quad keeps dropping connection every time I switched on the products. I will either need to connect them again using the Settings menu. Sometimes they stay connected and sometimes they don't. I do not know whether it is an issue on the TV side or the HT side, or I am the only one facing this issue. Sometimes it will prompt me to setup my other products again even though it had been setup before e.g. my Playstation 5. I am currently waiting for the sub-woofer redemption offer before I tried disconnecting and trying all over again. Hopefully everything will work out fine, fingers crossed.

IMPRESSIVE, ENCOMPASSING ROON FILLING SOUND!!!!!!!
Thoroughly impressed with sound this unit produces, easily one of the best "sound Bar" systems I have ever owned. Easy set-up, easy installation and east room calibration features. DEFINETLY recommend this Sony subwoofer add on for that thumping BASS!

Sony surroudn system is outstanding , after 15 years i let go of my old sony surroudn and now repalved it with this and it is brillant

Lack of EQ settings
Let down by having to use a Sony subwoofer, and lack of controllability. Would be better if you could integrate a third party sub… and have more control of speaker crossovers, generally ok for tv but not great for music… unit returned :-(

Very good product Price could be more competitive Only improvements to suggest for the next generation are Rear level adjustment on the remote control The ability to toggle sound fields on the remote control (not just on or off) Perhaps a customisable equaliser within the app?

Quad speakers upgrade
Used for about 2 weeks now alongside a Bravia 8 tv. Really impressed and extremely happy with my upgrade from a 5.1 setup.
