Disappointing

I bought 2 of these oven to table serving pieces, I thought they'd look great on my table because of the clean lines and symmetry. The problem is they are so shallow that you really have to be careful what you cook in them. If you make a casserole or a pudding you have to hope it doesn't rise to high over the top and if you make a dish with liquid, you have to worry the liquid will bubble up and go all over your oven. So, cooking is the first problem. The second is the dishes are fairly slippery and there's nothing to grab on to so moving them without the fear of dropping them is pretty stressful. And finally, its not like they really lock in place in the carrier, so what should have been a deep breath as you carry your beautifully prepared and presented dish to the table is another level of stress as you're anxious that the dish will slide out of the server as you are carrying it to the table. Had I not used them, I would probably return them. Yes, its a great price, but...
