Perfect light weight quilt for Texas summer. I use it along with the Tommy Bahama Sheets, TB cotton stripped blanket. It keeps me warm enough with the AC on and it's not too light and not heavy. Excellent coverage.

9 months agoVery Cozy Very sweet
Pros: ~The quilt washed up nicely. I partly dried in the dryer, then finished on the line. Looks good, though a little wrinkly-- a bit like a very gentle seersucker. This did not bother me. ~It is nicely flexible and drapped onto my queen bed well. ~The color I chose -- Island Orchid Reversible in Cream-pink-greenish grey( for the leaves) matched perfectly in my room which has a light mulberry colored carpet. ~It is a little thicker than my last quilt, thus a little heavier, but It feels very warm and cozy. I have a sheet and a blanket underneath. ~I am looking forward to winter time when I turn it over and use the other side which has a very pale cream with light green thin stripes. . ~The pillow shams are identically printed and fit my extra pillows perfectly. The inside is lined with poly against the batting and I am thinking that there might be a poly layer in the quilt as well. The shams are not reversible. ~The material is mostly cotton Cons ~ The cotton / poly quilt top is a bit rough to touch. In other words, it is not made from pearized cottlon or Egyptian cotton. But I don't spend a lot of time touching a quilt top, it is a very small concern that I am sure I will get used to. The cotton on the underside is softer. The top and bottom fabrics may be 100% cotton, but they do not feel 100%. Fabric softener may help, but I don't use that. ~Finally, this is not actually a con, but personal preferrence: the design is a tad bit busy for me and there is a strong verticle design that pops up with viewing from the end of the bed that is impossible to see in the photos. But because the colors are just right for my room, I ignored these things. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to many cozy nights of sleep.

I was excited to try out this Tommy Bahama diamond isle green quilt! I love the color, so relaxing for a bedroom. The quality is great and is comfortably soft. It is however, a little thin and I need another blanket while sleeping.
