Perfect size

Love this product! I use it for making soups, chili, and spaghetti. There are just 2 of us and I make enough for 2 nights so the size is perfect for us.

Great for Chinese cooking!!!

I bought three of these 5-QT Dutch Ovens, two as gifts for my children and one for my own use. I LOVE this size because the height of the sides prevents food and oil from splattering when stir-frying Chinese food, unlike regular fry pans and even a wok! The Tramontina brand's long lasting, non-stick feature and easy-to-handle weight are big pluses! I anticipate many years of excellent cooking results using this Dutch oven for everything from stir fries to braising meat ('hongsao') to rich Chinese stews.
