Disappointed

I returned the Crew Classic, because it was not what I had hoped for. I have a Travelpro MaxLite Carry-on, which I like except for the tiny pocket at the top of the outside pockets. I was hoping that the Crew Classic would have a nicer top pocket, but it doesn't, (and I couldn't really tell from the photos and info available online when I made the purchase). In addition I thought the Crew Classic was heavier and clunkier than I expected. And, the price was considerably higher than the MaxLite. So, I returned it.

We purchased 2 sets the blue for me Gray for my husband along with the matching underseat totes. We just got back from a trip and both sets worked beautifully. We were able to take 6 days worth of clothes plus a pair of shoes and toiletries in the carry-on. The totes we were able to pack a thin jacket, book, snacks, ipad and medicine. The carry-on rolled so smoothly and was easy to maneuver around. The totes fit really well over the handle and could easily removed even when the totes were packed. The bags did not tip over when left on their own(did not unzip the extra bottom storage though) with the totes over the handle on top of the bags. I love how the wheels have a thin coating of rubber like roller blade wheels have. Wish all luggage would use roller blade wheels instead of plastic because they roll smoothly and quietly. The handles are really nice too. The handles have a curve so when rolling these long distances this design helps not cut into your hand like straight handles can. We like the different heights the handle can be adjusted to as well. The zippers seem well made and strong (time will tell). Material is thicker than our Maxlite Air suitcases. This carry-on does not have locking zippers but the pulls have large holes so you can use your own locking system easily. Really like how the outside zipper pocket for our iPads and light fleece jacket makes for easy access. Small outside zipper holds our ear pods, pens, and small notebook. Fully packed the weight was 30 lbs for mine and 32lbs for my husbands. So far we both highly recommend the Crew carry-on with tote.

We bought these to replace

We bought these to replace our 15 year old TravelPro spinners. Although the old ones were in great shape, we decided to update our luggage. The new ones are wonderful. The new spinners are smooth and easily maneuverable. We only use carry on luggage and these work for us.

Wheeling this is a dream

I just returned from a trip on which I used this suitcase for the first time. It wheels beautifully. I really missed the extra inch my other spinner gives me, but it held a decent amount.
