When I first upgraded to

When I first upgraded to the iPhone 16 Pro, I was using a Tech 21 Evo Armor case for about 4 months. Then - while still using the Tech 21 case, the phone fell off the kitchen counter, a distance of about 3 feet, no damage to the phone at all, but the screen protector cracked. I realize the screen protector was doing what it was supposed to do, but I decided to replace the Evo Armor for a thicker and more protective UAG Monarch Pro. I also used the Monarch case on my previous iPhone 13 for a couple years, the phone never had any damage even though It had been through several drops & falls over a couple years. Also during this time I never had an issue with a screen protector cracking. I actually prefer a thicker case so I can easily hold onto the phone, and the sides of the Monarch Pro case are very grippy with the non-slip honeycomb pattern. It's a great case, I'd recommend it. The only criteria is I wish that there were more choices of different colors for the iPhone 16 Pro series in addition to black, mallard blue, red, and titanium. A dark green and dark Purple would be a great addition to the color choices.

monarch case in red

I have always liked UAG. plenty of protection for the side key (right side) where otterbox did not have that protection and even more protection for the corners. I love this case. I ordered another one in orange and have not used it yet. but i am equally impressed with both cases. UAG never disappoints.
