I bought the griddle for my husband as an early Fathers Day gift. We tried it last night to make grilled cheese sandwiches and it worked great. I like the easy clean up of the item.

A double burner griddle has been on my wishlist for a long time, so I was really excited to receive this Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Double Burner Griddle through Influenster. It’s a beautiful piece of cookware, feels solid, and fits perfectly across two burners, which is a dream for big breakfasts or family meals. Unfortunately, this particular griddle doesn’t line up with how we live. My family has chosen to avoid cookware made with PFAS (“forever chemicals”), and after looking into the materials, I found that this nonstick coating contains PTFE and related compounds. That’s a dealbreaker for us. If you don’t share the same concerns, I think this would be a great addition to your kitchen—it heats evenly, looks professional, and would definitely be useful for anyone cooking for a crowd. But for my home, I’ll have to pass and continue my search for a truly PFAS-free option.

5 Stars for quality; 0 stars for design flaw
I HATE giving low reviews, especially for free stuff… and even worse for high-quality stuff. Guys, this is a great brand - we all know it. Genius idea to cook breakfast all at once, & double griddle was consistent in quality + heat dispersal everywhere…….. including on the unprotected METAL handles (hello, excellent heat conductor) that hang OVER THE GRIDDLE. The handles don’t even face outward!! Not only does this make Zero sense for ergonomic carrying… but it sits atop this heat-machine even more. So if you want to move the griddle in any way, you need oven mitts - again, they’re hanging OVER what you’re cooking, so they need to be the thinnest mitts ever since you already only have about 1.5 inches of clearance between the griddle & the metal handles above… but then what if that space has food (as it should) nearby?? Now the mitts are doubly compromised. It’s also just harder to move with them being inward, even without the heat-burn fears. Say you wait 45 mins for everything to cool down, it’s still awkward to rotate your wrists/invert your elbows to hold in a less-stable position. Let’s say they got positioning right & the handles sat outside… they’d still be hot - i know that. But at least i could carry them properly and not get my mitts stuck between the griddle & the handles. Nor would it risk falling due to it being weird carrying position. But this is 2025: we are in our Jetsons era. We all have heat-proof kitchen materials & gadgets. A brand as talents & quality-minded as Viking can surely come up with a viable protective material/coating for the handles. Am I still using this for amazing weekend breakfast sandwiches?? Heck yeah. But am I using it when unknowing guests are visiting who might not be thinking g like a reviewer? Nope. It’s a liability. Because my guests know I would NEVER purchase something dumb enough to hurt people via using them for their simple function. TL; DR? The handle will burn you because it hangs over the griddle, so I don’t feel safe gifting or using it except only with my husband & myself. Rotate the handles 180° + add a heat-protective element to them, & you’ve got yourself a regular customer.

Versatile griddle
I recently grilled salmon burgers on the Hard Anodized Nonstick Double Burner Griddle, made by Viking Culinary Products. This griddle is 18 X 11 inches, giving you a large surface area to cook. You could easily fit about 6-8 burgers. It is made of thick aluminum, providing uniform heating which helped me cook all of the salmon burgers evenly. The stainless steel handles feel secure, and are designed to stay cool, making it easier to carry your food. The triple layer nonstick coating made it a breeze to flip my salmon burgers. They did not stick to the griddle at all. This also made for a quick and easy cleanup. I love that this griddle is dishwasher safe as well. Using a griddle on the grill gives you a lot more options for cooking. It is perfect for cooking vegetables or other small items that would normally fall through the grating. You can even make bacon, eggs, and pancakes on the grill with a griddle. It is very handy to have around especially if you ever experience power outages and need to cook all of your meals on a gas grill. I recommend this Viking griddle to anyone who likes to grill and wants to be able to have more options cooking.

Awesome griddle !
This griddle was perfect for me especially being in Florida. I don’t like grilling outside for dinner because of bugs in Florida but I love making burgers and steaks for dinner. This was a great addition to my kitchen because it allowed me to make more than one burger or dog at a time while Inside and not getting eaten up by bugs. Great product turned two stove spots into a full hot griddle. Would recommend!

Good quality, easy to clean, handles should be opp
Great sturdy griddle that works great for breakfasts and burgers. Heat spreads out nicely and you can tell it’s well made. Easy to clean. Perfect size. Only downfall is I wish the handles faced the opposite direction because they can get warm when cooking.

Doesn't work with induction range
I bought this to work with my new induction stove. It doesn't work because the bottom is raised. Lots of money wasted! Now I see it states in the fine print that it doesn't work with an induction stove. They should make one with a flat bottom that does.
