Defective Zipper/Poor Placement of Zipper

These boots were so fun. However, with that said, they were poorly designed and the zipper was cheap. They should have placed the zipper on the side of the boot where there is less friction/movement. The zipper is in the back of the boot. I tried on one of the boots then took a few steps on the tile floor to see how the fringe moved. The zipper split open in half with the top of the zipper still attached. The boot was now stuck on my foot with no way to get it off by pulling it off my foot. I had to work the zipper slowly adjusting the teeth on each side of the zipper to get the zipper unzipped as I didn't want to cut the boot/defective zipper. Fortunately, being a seamstress I knew how to do this. I did finally get the zipper fixed and got the boot off my foot. I attempted a few slides with the zipper once I had the boot off my foot, and I still had to fix it as it got off the track several times. So between the defective zipper and poor placement of the zipper (movement of the foot back and forth flexes the zipper at the back of the boot and splits the zipper open) I would not recommend these boots, unfortunately. It's sad because they are so cute/fun!

Fringed Boots

These Wild Pair fringed suede boots are a beautiful color and quite comfortable despite the heel height of about three inches. I was disappointed in the shaft height. They are too short on my leg to be appealing, so unfortunately I returned them.
