So ugly, wow
I had to return these boots. They are lowkey ugly (looked okay online, uglier in person) and the calves are way too small. I consider my legs to be very normal sized, and these boots pinched in a very unattractive way. Not made for a female body, maybe made for a beanpole.

Not the same
I bought these boots because I lived my previous hale boots. Must have been a re-design, because these were too tall, and too tight on my calves. I could not tuck my pants in to keep them from getting wet. I returned then. Next winter I might try a different style.

Excellent purchase!
The most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I own a farm and where these everyday. They are very lightweight and breathable. Highly recommend.

Handsome boot…
A very handsome boot. I have been buying Muckboots since their inception decades ago, and have always loved them. This year’s Hale boot weighs about half of my last pair and, without the insoles I put in, I can feel everything I walk over. May put another set of insole in as well. Definitely not discarding my old pair.

wish wouldn't have changed top
this is my third pair because liked so much just replaced with same as wore out. very unhappy at how the top of the new model has been reduced in circumference quite a bit. they no longer are easy to tuck pants into, nor can i step into them without bending over - something that has become more of a plus the older i get.

Banking on reputation
Fit perfectly and cozy warm; my last pair of Muck boots sprung a leak much earlier than I expected. I love the boots so much I am counting on their reputation- I hope last ones were a fluke.

Long wearing!
This is my second pair in the last 10 years! I wear this particular style in all seasons except in snowy winter months. In these months I wear a Muckboot style with heavier treads. The Hale boot is long wearing, comfortable and has good traction in most types of weather.

Great Purchase
I bought my boots so my feet would be warm while snowshoeing, while this season is over, mud season in Maine has just begun. These boots are very warm, easy to get on/off, and keep my feet dry and cozy. I love these boots!
