Heavy Fabric

Stylish hat and great for packing in a suitcase. Issue is that the hat fabric is too heavy and hot to wear in the Mediterranean sun. Both my wife and I couldn't wear ours as it was just too hot to do so. Sadly, we have to hang up our hats :(

So sorry that you found the Vineyard Hat fabric to be too heavy and hot to wear in the Mediterranean. Each Product Style Page has a "Features and Care" tab under the Product Details section where you can find detailed information including UPF sun rating, brim length, material content, weight of item, packing instructions, and how to wash and care for that item. Our Natural Blend Kettle is a similar style that's lighter (2.4 ounces and made out of 52% Cotton/48% Polyester and the reverse is 100% Polyester) vs. the Vineyard (4.3 ounces and 89% Polyester/6% cotton, 5% Rayon). Pretty Hat!

I should have bought the Medium because the Large Blue Womens Vineyard Hat is too big not true to size. I figured out a way to adjust it with the Slipknot adjustable sizing since I prefer to hide the Slipknot under the hat. I just tighten up the slipknot and keep it under the hat rather than under my chin. That makes the hat fit. It is a very pretty hat and now looks good on me fitting properly.

Need more colors of Vineyard hat, please!

I absolutely love everything about this hat! Packability, versatile, dress up or down, fit... marvelous. BUT... I absolutely need two more colors; black & hot pink! Please? Perty please? I'll model them for free... 😂 Also, I tried to upload pix, but unsuccessful.

Greatest Hat Ever!

I have purchased this hat twice…one for each place. So many compliments from both women and men. Squashes down to pack in your suitcase, then pops right into shape. I have it in red, too. You will love this hat!
