Disappointed

I purchased this “Fine Jewelry” bracelet in February 2025 due to Macy’s “Lowest Price of the Year” promotion. I have not worn it as the event for which I bought it is in May 2025. It is in the original box with the tag still attached along with the receipt. I took a look today, April 26, and was stunned to see that the middle part of the bracelet has already started to change color. Customer service tells me that since the 30 days return window is closed and I did not purchase any insurance there’s nothing they can do to help. Insurance? For bad quality? Not “wear and tear”, since I never wore it; not “lost”, or “broken”, since it’s not “broken” …This is just a case of “bad quality”. I own Fine Jewelry that was passed down to me, I even own a set of well-made Fashion Jewelry that is more than 30 years old and still beautiful. Nothing changed color and no insurance was needed for the quality! What a waste of money! Macy’s, you could do better…
