We had to get rid of an older mattress because my husband’s side had a depression. This triggered a series of trying over 5 mattresses before settling on the King Koil Violet Medium Euro Top Natural Hotel Collection. We both like firm support with enough cushion to also be able to side sleep. We tried an Aireloom Extra Firm and it was like sleeping on rocks. We tried aTemperpedic and hated sinking into the memory foam, we tried a Saatva Classic Firm and appreciated the balance of support with cushion, it would have been great, but it was way too bouncy with zero motion transfer control. We were a little worried the Violet medium would be too soft, but it sleeps like a firm with just the right amount of cushion to be able to sleep on your side. It also has superb motion control. I hope this mattress lasts us 20 years because we do not want to go mattress shopping again. I never post reviews, but really couldn’t find any for this brand and model, so I hope it helps.
Best mattress we have ever gotten
My husband and I went to Macys to look at the mattresses. We asked to see the 2 most popular ones. After trying the 2 out we decided on the Violet one. It came with free box springs. We opted for the low profile ones. I am a back sleeper and my husband sleeps on his side. We went from a California King to a king. It’s plenty big for us and our large doodle. Our salesman was very patient and knowledgeable about all of the beds. This is our most expensive bed we have ever gotten. The bed is comfortable. You have a 10 year warranty so you have nothing to lose We love it!!
