Beautiful design and workmanship but bulky!

From the photo on line, one cannot tell how bulky this ring is on your hand. Its design and workmanship is outstanding. It’s contemporary and stylish which caught my attention. However once I tried it on, I was shocked as how bulky/junky it was. After admiring it on it for a few days, I had to return it and vowed to myself next time I have to be at the store, trying on first before buying a ring!
