Chair has defects but Macy Cust Serv is DEFECTIVE!

I contacted Macy's Cust. Serv. by telephone a day after I had been at the store to purchase the chair because I realized that the wrong color chair had been ordered by the sales rep. It took me over an hour to get someone on the phone to discuss it, and then another 15 minutes to get them to do something about it. After I received the chair, I spent over an hour again trying to get someone on the telephone. I explained two things; one side of the chair had leather that was wrinkled; also, that the chair was leaning to one side. I said that I wanted the chair replaced. I was told that someone first needed come out to investigate. I said fine, explained when I could do it, and we agreed on a date and time. The day before, I received a voicemail and the time had been changed. Again, nearly an hour to get someone on the phone. I said to pick the chair up, I don't want it. They said, well, you know what they said. I asked to speak to a mgr. and a month later, I'm still waiting???

Love it and don't love it at the same time

If I could return it I would. The couch is gorgeous and looks fantastic and fits my family well. I am 6'1" and it's is way to short, at recline, my legs hang off quite a bit and their is no support for my head. And the most frustrating of all, you cannot just raise the legs, when the legs go to a normal recliner position, the couch automatically reclines. I just want to lift my legs and instead to have the legs straight out, it won't, it reclines so if you are watching tv you have to put your legs at a decline or shift the top head forward. It's just not thought out well. I miss my lazyboy couch right now.

So far so good

I've had this 3pc sofa recliner for almost a year now, I find it a little firm but at the same time having watched tv on the 3 separate recliners it's been comfortable enough for me to nap. Very pleased.

UNHAPPY WITH CUSHIONS ON END PIECE...POOR QUALITY

Great product and customer service

I recently purchased the Addison117” leather reclining sectional. So happy with my purchase and with my customer service. Salesperson Coral kept me informed on all aspects of order and delivery. Delivery was excellent as deliverymen explained everything and delivery was prompt and neat.. I am a Macy’s shopper, but this is the first time I have purchased furniture from you Great experience.

Awaiting our third replacement

This is a beautiful reclining sofa. We bought this one for the beautiful color and design. Although the quality of the mechanism for the reclining and headrest has been very disappointing. We are on our third replacement. The first two times it was found to have wiring that was either not hooked up or cut. The first one received had many issues with the mechanism and was way overstuffed making it very uncomfortable. The second replacement the middle section the wire was cut deeming it useless. The person who delivered it stated he would bring us a replacement for the center recliner the following week. This never happened. When I called Macy’s they offered to replace the whole couch again. If there are any issues with this third sofa we will be asking for a full refund. I cannot believe that a manufacturer would let a non working piece of furniture out the door. Do they not have a quality inspection before pushing their furniture out the door not once but twice.

Disappointing

Perhaps should've gone with the other displayed one because this Addyson was uncomfortable no matter how I adjusted the headrest, incline, etc. Looked great in the designated space in family room. Did not take long to realize that there was something wrong with the seat area: it leaned down on the right side, no matter how I adjusted my body, the seat definitely kept dipping down on right side. UNCOMFORTABLE all around! Neck was unsupported, no matter how I adjusted the headrest. The "dipping" continued even with legs elevated. Called and a "tech" came, listened attentively, examined the recliner, then said he could put foam rubber under the back part. NO WAY! I had been sold a defective item, I argued. Long story short: RETURNED IT, got refund. BTW: this is NOT leather, actually like a pleather.
