Terrible mattress

We had to return this mattress after less than a year - it had misshapen and already had dents where we lay. Not a great experience.

Comfort Delivered

After extensive research accompanied by in-store trials at Sleep Outfitters, I first decided on a Tempur-Pedic Lux soft queen mattress over the Beautyrest Black Hybrid Series Four Plush Apex Top. However, after 90 days of sleeping on it we knew this was not the mattress for us which sent me back to my research at Sleep Outfitters showroom. After trying everything once again there I was back on the Beautyrest Black Hybrid Series Four Plush Apex Top. My wife was with me this time, so we decided on the Beautyrest Black Hybrid Series Four Plush Apex Top. WOW!!! What a difference after just 8 nights, the deepest sleep we have enjoyed in quite a while. I'm a side sleeper, my shoulder pain is gone, my wife doesn't feel like she is going to slide off the edge. This mattress is extremely luxurious, comfortable, and supportive.

Extraordinary mattress!! We're very pleased!

The mattress is so beautifully crafted, we were reluctant to cover it with sheets and bedding. We've been sleeping on it for about a week now and we're of the opinion that it is the most comfortable mattress we've encountered in our 77 years! THANKS!!

The Crown Jewel of the Entire Line

Coming from a plush tempurpedic....Initially I only had the opportunity to try the non hybrid line of beautyrest black series beds. I initially bought the Series 4 Medium Summit top and I had some issues with it. The pillow top was not structured enough around the head and foot of the mattress and I had issues with my pillows getting suck between the bed and the headboard along with some comfort issues. It was hard for me to find the hybrid series in a store for me to try but once I did i tried all of them. Theres some really nice beds in the line. Overall the entire hybrid line in my opinion is better than the non-hybrid line, but that could be due to my preference for a tight top which i didnt realize till now after owning the pillowtop version. That said in my opinion the crown jewel of the black series line is the hybrid series 4 plush apex top. Its actually not THAT plush. Its the perfect blend of plushness and support right off the truck but will likely soften a bit over time to be even better for my taste. Id say its definitely a true medium out of the gate as opposed to traditional "plush" but Im so happy with this bed, im just a bit surprised these arent on more floors for people to try. Im a hot sleeper, and the cover is very cool to the touch, combined with a cooling mattress cover, temperature has not been an issue for me. I think in this price range, of mattresses you can actually find in stores, meaning non online only companies, there isn't a better mattress on the market than this.

Comfy but…

Comfy but seems to sag a little in the middle. I’ve tried rotating it but still seems to have a sag in the middle.
