Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody ambery floral fragrance, imagining a unique creation based on 3 'auras'. In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air. They are highlighted by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones, embodying the mineral aura. Lastly, the aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets. Staying Power Lacking

While I love this fragrance, I expected a longer wear time based upon previous reviews. Lovely scent for a mature woman. Bright with strong, rich undertones. I also anticipated a few samples with my purchase through Macy’s, but nothing came with it. It’s not available in store near me, so I had to order through the app. Apparently Bloomy’s includes samples with purchase.
