Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody ambery floral fragrance, imagining a unique creation based on 3 'auras'. In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air. They are highlighted by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones, embodying the mineral aura. Lastly, the aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets. Love the fragrance!

A great combination of spices, ingredients, and mixed well. The woodsy, floral and aqua blends well. Sprayed a little on my lounger and the fragrance is still there. I had forgotten that I sprayed it and all day I was wondering what was smelling so good!

A must have for any collection

Baccarat Rouge 540 is my default scent. It is so inviting and well rounded. Not overpowering. There are cheaper dupes but why would you do that? I'll be buying the largest bottle next time.
