Baccarat Rouge 540 is a universal, luminous and intense fragrance with woody ambery floral notes, a one-of-a-kind condensed olfactory signature with a long-lasting sillage. Inspired by the 250th anniversary of Baccarat, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey the poetic alchemy of crystal-making in this woody ambery floral fragrance, imagining a unique creation based on 3 'auras'. In the top notes, the breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron evoke the aura of air. They are highlighted by an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones, embodying the mineral aura. Lastly, the aura of fire is suggested by the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets. Unique and elegant scent!

Baccarat Rouge 540 came packaged beautifully, heightening the excitement to smell it for the first time. The luxurious, unique and elegant scent of saffron, jasmine and amber wood is perfect for an evening dinner night, that will sure leave a memorable impression. I would personally prefer wearing it during the autumn, winter months due to the sweet woody scent! Due to its price point I would recommend sampling it first as it may not be everyone’s preferred scent!

Versatile

What a gorgeous sweet fruity scent this is! The projection on this is phenomenal, people kept coming up to me and telling me how good I smell! The perfume is so versatile it can be worn by both men and women and to any occasion be it casual or a dressy event.

Beautiful gender neutral scent

This is a beautiful gender neutral scent which is woody yet sweet. It is inspired by the poetic alchemy of crystal making and it really has a special, mystical scent. It’s deep yet fresh and not over powering. However i took one star off as for me, the scent didn’t last long enough!

Luxury at its finest

I have had the privilege of testing the Baracat rouge540. Honestly, i can't be more proud. The fragrance is somood lifting that the confidence it gives after wearing it is over a hundred per cent. The packaging is a clear show of luxury.

Slightly disappointed

The fragrance itself is beautiful when first applied—fresh and elegant, with a lovely opening that feels very inviting. Unfortunately, the biggest drawback is its longevity. The scent fades within just a couple of hours, and I find myself needing to reapply much sooner than I would expect for a perfume at this price point. If you’re looking for something light for a quick outing, it might work, but if you want lasting power throughout the day, this one may not meet your expectations.

Absolutely beautiful scent got so many compliments how beautiful I smell definitely it will be out on my Christmas list this year 11ml is a good travel size beautifully packaged in posh looking box will look good for gifting to a loved one price wise I think you paying for quality and London lasting smell that stays for a whole day if not longer I think it's worth every penny .

Luxury perfume

Everything about this perfume felt luxury. From the smell to the packaging. The scent is very strong and you only need to spray a little bit. I had lots of compliments when wearing. I would definitely wear on special occasions rather than every day use.
