In Love With New Coat

The coat fits real nice and is not too tight where I can wear a sweater underneath on real cold days. I like the weather/water resistant material. Hood could be a little bit larger but I can work with it and I love the color which was the deciding factor in purchasing the coat.

Too tight in the arms, and a little bulky overall

I had to return this coat, unfortunately. Although I ordered a size larger than I usually wear, (which is normally a medium), the arms were far too tight when I tried this anorak on. Upon slipping my arm into the sleeve, I immediately said to myself "Oh, no.... way too tight". I weigh 175 lbs. and I'm 5'6" in height, so I am about 25 lbs overweight, but I carry my extra weight every evenly distributed, and so my upper arms are chubby. However, I figured that ordering a size larger than usual would provide plenty of room for layering or chubby arms - Nope! I also found the coat to feel bulky and otherwise uncomfortable; not suitable for layering or wearing a thick sweater underneath.

Color is off

I ordered the twig color that looked to me like a taupe-gray. When I received it the color was a dark olive-brown. I returned it and ordered a black one in my regular size large. The size is good and the coat is warm and made well.

Nice rain coat

I'm happy with the coat. It is heavier than a usual rain coat and will be good for cold and wet days. The fit works for me, I can wear a mid weight sweater underneath but would not try with anything too thick like a fleece jacket. I like that there is an inside side pocket and as a person whose hands are always cold I really appreciate that there are thumbholes in the sleeves.

Great Buy!

I have the same style coat lined and waterproof from LL bean that was way more expensive than this coat. Don't sleep on this one. Its a steal. I will recommend sizing up if you like to layer or just prefer a roomy coat.

cute but need thinner arms

I really liked the quality and style of this coat. The weight was what I was looking for but even though I fit a size small my arms are fluffier than fit in these sleeves comfortably. I had to return it.
