For allowing me to read and review this book. Book Review: I enjoyed this book and gave it 4 stars. It picks up where the second book left off. I did have some problems of remembering what happened before because it has been a while since I read the second book. It didn’t take long though because this book draws you in. There is action throughout the book, and it holds your attention. I like how the characters support each other even though they had issues in the previous book. The characters were able to redeem themselves in this book. In this book they are being held on a ship against their will. They are able to break out and go in search of the other girl that the enemy is in search of. When they find her, they are able to gather together and work towards fighting the enemy. The so-called prince goes back to his land and gathers the people together after showing them what will happen. Soon they meet up with the other and work together. Do they defeat the enemy, or will they have lost, and all is lost with their lands. There are some interesting twists and turns, and you are on the edge of your seat.

Dang.
I was a bit afraid to read the third book because of lackluster reviews, but of course I had to read it for myself. I don't know. I liked the new characters and world, but there was just too much left undone and unanswered. I'm sorry, Tomi. I want to give it 4 stars but just can't, especially after being so connected to the first 2 books. They were AMAZING! I did enjoy the new characters, and maybe I would have enjoyed the book more had I NOT already read the first two books, which were written much better. No, never mind. I agree with other reviewers in that the last one was rushed l which was odd since it had been so long in between books. I agree that perhaps Tomi just out grew the series and characters in general. The book just kind of fell flat due to missing storylines and characters. Not sure what happened, but thanks for the first two books.
